Sabine & Lewis // Falcon Manor Wedding
Falcon Manor is a favourite of mine for the fact that me and my wife took our first steps together in and around Settle. What a glorious place to get wed and Sabine and Lewis embraced the day beautifully. So chilled and relaxed there were laughs, tears and the odd funny face from Lewis. Suited…

The History of Hornington Manor
Hornington Manor, nestled in the picturesque landscape of North Yorkshire, is a celebrated wedding venue with a rich historical tapestry. The manor is situated in Bolton Percy, a quaint village within close proximity to York, Wetherby, and Tadcaster, making it accessible yet enchantingly secluded. Originally constructed in the late 18th century, the manor exemplifies Georgian architectural elegance, a testament to the sophisticated design aesthetic of that period.
Throughout its extensive history, Hornington Manor has witnessed numerous transformations but retains its original charm and character. It was originally established as a working farmhouse, contributing to the area’s agricultural development. Over time, it transitioned into a refined country house, accommodating the evolving lifestyles of its distinguished occupants.
Notably, the manor and its lands have been associated with several prominent figures in the region. Sir Thomas Fairfax, a significant military leader during the English Civil War, had connections to the area, lending a sense of historic gravitas to the manor’s narrative. In contemporary times, Hornington Manor has become renowned as a luxurious setting for weddings and events, offering a unique blend of historical grandeur and modern amenities. The venue encapsulates the quintessential English countryside experience, providing an idyllic backdrop for memorable occasions.
