A gorgeous place in the world
Nina & Simon // The Manor House Wedding
Absolutely loved this day at The Manor House in Lindley with Nina & Simon. These two were really up for the day being fun and about celebration rather than the formalities and that was to be the same for the approach to their photography. Yes, there were few portraits and a few shots with loved…
Sabine & Lewis // Falcon Manor Wedding
Falcon Manor is a favourite of mine for the fact that me and my wife took our first steps together in and around Settle. What a glorious place to get wed and Sabine and Lewis embraced the day beautifully. So chilled and relaxed there were laughs, tears and the odd funny face from Lewis. Suited…
Ellie & Dan // Sandburn Hall Wedding
On the outskirts of York I found Sandburn Hall in 1000 acres of woodland and then found the lovely bride Ellie with 1000 things going on around her while Dan, the groom, was squaring up to his phone with vids on how to do his pocket square. All wonderfully chaotic and perfect for documentary wedding…

The History of Hodsock Priory
Hodsock Priory, nestled in the heart of South Yorkshire, is an enchanting historic wedding venue with a rich and storied past. Although the main house that exists today was predominantly constructed during the 19th century, the site itself has roots dating back to the 12th century when it was home to an Augustinian priory. Over centuries, the property has witnessed significant historical transformations, becoming a private estate following the Dissolution of the Monasteries under Henry VIII. Owned by the Mellish family since the 18th century, the estate has passed through generations, with notable occupants including Sir Gervase Clifton, a prominent figure during the English Civil War.
Hodsock Priory is situated conveniently near local towns, lying approximately four miles north of Worksop and 45 minutes away from Sheffield, providing easy access for guests. Today, the estate is adored for its stunning scenery, particularly its famous snowdrop gardens that bloom in white carpets each spring, attracting visitors from all over the country. The current owners have carefully preserved the beauty and historic essence of the house while modernising it for contemporary use. Now, Hodsock Priory stands as an exquisite location for weddings, combining historic charm with modern elegance, making it an unforgettable venue for couples on their special day.
