Sab & Jonny // Crow Wood

I met Sab and Jonny at another wonderful wedding I had the pleasure of shooting. After a recommendation from the fabulous Crow Wood wedding team, fate played its hand and I had the best time with this wonderfully bonkers bride and groom at one of the most stylish, luxurious locations in Burnley, Lancashire.

Like most of my couples it was all about catching the day in a natural documentary style for Sab and Jonny. An emotional morning just rolled on throughout the day. Not waiting for the evening party, the wedding guests started some impromptu dancing just after the ceremony. Crow Wood’s imaginative yet simple layout gets a wedding party going!

Of course our bride and groom wanted a candid approach for their wedding photography but we took twenty minutes out for some relaxed non posey style portraits in the 40 acre private parkland. It felt so good for the guys that we did it again for a few sunset shots around the summer house; capped off by a quick creative shot under the purple lights of Crow Wood’s contemporary interior.

Sab and Jonny’s day was all about emotion and energy and when you mix a Jewish Horah and a bit of Irish jigging into the equation, after the cutting of the cake, the party was always going to kick off in a wonderfully crazy way. What a day and just a perfect couple enjoying their perfect day to the full.
