Heather and David wanted a pre-wedding shoot to get used to the camera for the big day. It did not take long at all to completely forget about the camera and just enjoy a wander along the river Ribble in the heart of the Ribble Valley; the inspiration for Tolkien’s vision of The Shires in his work.

Following a very simple route we just chatted about all things weddings and life at which point I found out Heather’s granddad was an avid photographer – no pressure then! Like all my pre-wedding shoots I decide on a few spots to stop at along the way and use the light to shed relief on the moment.
