Claire & Matt // Colshaw Hall
Wedding photography at Colshaw Hall was an absolute joy. This exclusive and luxurious Cheshire venue has the perfect set up with its beautiful Grade II listed hall, The Stables ceremony room, walled garden and even its very own room for the groom preparations called The Den. As a documentary wedding photographer it was great to move through these spaces telling the story of Claire and Matt’s day.
It started in the main house, or hall, where Claire and her bridesmaids were getting ready. With celebrity lights around the mirrors and a few selfies, the excitement began to build early. Then it was over to The Den with Matt and the lads. Time for a few James Bond style creative shots with the boys dressed in classy black and white before Claire and Matt got married in the beautifully bespoke space that is The Stables.
It was a beautifully sunny day for these two to celebrate with all their loved ones with a little time out for some relaxed and natural portraits in the stunning grounds of Colshaw Hall. The walled garden is a wonderful space where people can just hang out with a few garden games and a cocktail or three and leave me just to capture those authentic, candid moments that can tell the real story of a wedding day.
The Peel Suite is the perfect place and space to host a wedding breakfast and the party celebrations. With a gloriously full ceiling of chandeliers the very happy couple proceeded to their first dance to a few tears from the onlooking wedding guests. It was the perfect day for them and it was such a pleasure to capture every moment for them.
