When Emily and Kev approached me to shoot their wedding in our home town of Todmorden, it was always going to be special for me. I was married in Todmorden Town Hall, too! My documentary style of wedding photography was just what they wanted. With the prospect of going up to Bridestones Rocks for a sunset shoot all I had to do was order the weather for the day.

The plan was simple; preparations at home, married at Tod Town Hall, dogs, cakes, buffet, ice cream, games, home party and just sharing good times in the afternoon sun. And after a quick speech or two, some family shots and the smashing of the piñata, we chased the sunset and it did not disappoint. They walked as I shot and with the help of a little creative flash set up danced on the rocks before sitting together to watch the sun go down. Perfect.
