Are you looking for Wedding Photographer at Mottram Hall?
I’m Andy Wade, an award winning photographer, and Mottram Hall is Cheshire grandeur on a grand scale: a Grade II listed Georgian house in 270 acres of landscaped gardens and championship golf course. I’ve photographed a wedding here, and the house is beautiful for ceremonies while the grounds give portraits a real sense of occasion.
My approach is all about storytelling in a relaxed documentary style, focusing on the real emotions, and creative yet natural portraits. The weddings you see across Andy Wade Photography are all real days I’ve documented, so what you see here is exactly how I’d photograph yours.
Georgian elegance across 270 acres of Cheshire countryside. Let’s create something beautiful together at Mottram Hall.

Inside Mottram Hall
Mottram Hall is Cheshire grandeur on a grand scale: a Grade II listed Georgian house in 270 acres of landscaped gardens and championship golf course. I've photographed a wedding here. The house is beautiful for ceremonies and portraits alike, and the Champneys touch means every detail is polished.
The elegant rooms host ceremonies and celebrations of all sizes, with the spa, the golf course and luxurious bedrooms making the venue a full destination for your guests. It's within easy reach of Manchester, which makes it as convenient as it is grand.
270 acres and a championship course
The 270 acres of gardens and parkland give you everything from formal terraces to sweeping fairway views, and the house's warm red brick glows at golden hour. For portraits, the options are endless, and the championship course provides some unexpectedly lovely backdrops.
The day flows with five-star smoothness: ceremony in the historic house, drinks on the terraces, portraits around the estate, then dinner and dancing in grand style.

The History of Mottram Hall
From the de Mottrams to Champneys
The Mottram estate has a story going back to 1310 and Adam de Mottram, and the land passed to the Booth family of Dunham Massey in 1650. The house you see today was built in 1721 for William Booth, a handsome Georgian hall in warm red brick, and it's now Grade II listed.
The estate became a hotel and golf resort in the 20th century, and it's now part of the Champneys collection, bringing the group's famous standards of luxury and wellbeing to this historic Cheshire house.
Champneys standards, Georgian bones
The combination of Georgian grandeur, Champneys luxury and a championship golf estate has made Mottram Hall one of Cheshire's premier wedding venues, and one of the most prestigious addresses in the county.
How To Get To Mottram Hall
Mottram Hall is on Wilmslow Road in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire, postcode SK10 4QT. From the M56, leave at junction 6 and follow signs towards Wilmslow and Macclesfield; from the M6, junction 18 via the A34 works well.
Wilmslow station, with direct trains from Manchester and London, is about 10 minutes away by taxi, and there's ample parking on the estate.
Why book Andy Wade Photography?
You’ve found your venue, and now you want the day photographed as it actually happens, not staged around the camera. My style is natural and documentary: genuine moments, real emotion, and the laughter, tears and everything in between, documented quietly while you get on with enjoying it.
As your Mottram Hall wedding photographer, I’m committed to creating a collection that reflects the true emotion of your day, ensuring you have memories to cherish forever. Let’s tell your unique story together.
I couldn’t be more excited to join you on your wedding day at Mottram Hall, document your day, and capture all the little moments that make it truly yours.
