Sarah & Ash // Clifton Arms Wedding

“Just one shot I’m after”, said Sarah. “The windmill!”. We got that shot and the wind – and there was plenty – did its job with the veil. We had a little window on a beautifully blustery day to walk to the windmill, along the promenade and the out to sea along the jetty. As well as a beautiful bunch of people inside The Clifton Arms Hotel it really made the day.

I do not spend an over amount of time with couple portraits. That approach was perfect for Sarah and Ash and that little trip to the windmill was the perfect idea. The weather forecast wasn’t in our favour but you have to be positive and be brave where you can. We got our window and we took the opportunity. Add that to a glorious morning and ceremony bathed in sunlight with a full on party at night and the day couldn’t have been more perfect.
