Tia & David
A Homely Wedding at Ashfield House
The beautifully bespoke venue that is Ashfield House was the perfect venue for Tia and David. More of a home rather than a Manor House, Estate or Hall, Ashfield House is wonderfully intimate and has many brilliant photo opportunities for natural and creative wedding photography.
Bridal Preparations at Ashfield House
Used for bridal preparations, the Sitting Room is spacious with plenty of mirrors and window light for creative wedding photography. Before leaving for St Wilfred’s Church for the ceremony there were many occasions to capture some wonderful natural moments, like when the beautiful flowers arrived and when Tia’s Dad saw his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time.
Church Photography at St Wilfred’s
St Wilfred’s church is a beautiful church with aisles on both sides and plenty of room to shoot from creative angles. I loved capturing Tia walking down the aisle, her expression, Tia and David catching each other’s eye and the natural emotion. From the back of the church I shot the exchanging of rings under the huge stained glass windows andmajestic roof. As they left, perfect silhouettes of Tia and David were cast with light. The wind outside was wild which made for some wonderful confetti shots.
Couple Portraits and a Party at Ashfield House
Ashfield House has many garden layers, great for creative photography! Even though I was laying in the lavender, Tia and David soon forget I was there – so just me and the bees! Through the trees and down the steps our shoot provided so many natural photos. Back to the house with a beautifully decorated wedding breakfast room, touching speeches and the perfect room for a first dance with David and a last dance with Dad, Tia and David enjoyed the perfect evening.
