They say, given the choice, never work with children or animals. Unpredictability and unruly behaviour – not the elements you need to execute what you need to do. Maybe that would bother some wedding photographers but as father of two children and an owner of two dogs those traits are coupled with charm, charisma and individuality. As well as being very special, weddings are also a slice of real life and both children and animals are often a central part of that.
As a wedding photographer I love to show authentic emotions and reactions that give insight into the people and personalities of the day. Both animals and children have their own routines – especially young children – so when those routines collide with the routine of a wedding day the results often make for brilliant moments. I always love working with children and animals.
